UNIQUE OPERATING FEATURES
In addition to our UV lamp monitor, UV lamp and Filter life indicator, non-use protection, overflow protection and internal water quality monitor, we also feature:

THIN FILM LAMINAR FLOW: The key to our exclusive UV cooler technology is our ability to control the flow of the incoming water into the cooler reservoir. When water is admitted, it is injected directly onto the UV lamp and quartz sleeve above the water line.  The natural cohesion property of water causes it to wrap around the quartz sleeve in a thin film and flow down the quartz sleeve, receiving a maximum dose of UV light

LAMP WARM-UP: Before water is admitted to the cooling tank, the UV lamp is activated and allowed to reach optimal operating temperature. The warm up period allows the lamp to reach an effective operating temperature before water enters the reservoir for treatment.

NO WATER RECOVERY:  The system automatically senses when water is not available and shuts down.  Periodically the system will look to see if water is available. When water is again available, the system will reset and go back into normal operation.  

EXTENDED UV LAMP LIFE: A UV lamp’s rated life is based on a number of starts and/or a total number of operating hours. To increase lamp life and still treat all water that enters the tank, when water is admitted into the tank and treated with UV, the tank is overfilled above the refill activation point. The net result is that the system does not have to activate the UV lamp every time water is dispensed, reducing the number of lamp starts by up to 80%.

INCREASED RUN TIMES:  As the UV lamp ages, the program automatically increases the lamp run time to compensate for UV intensity losses due to the lamp's age.

LAMP LIFE TRACKING: Our program utilizes a point system which calculates both the number of lamp starts and lamp hours and activates a LED indicator when the effective lamp life has expired.

ADJUSTABLE FILTER GALLON AND TDS SETTINGS: Dealers can set the filter gallon monitor from 250 – 5000 to infinite gallons and the TDS water quality monitor can be adjusted from 10 – 125 TDS.

FLASH MEMORY: The system utilizes flash memory so that stored data is never lost during power interruptions or storage.

MODULAR DESIGN: The UV system can be removed from the cooler for quick and easy field service and can be used with either cook/cold or hot/cold faucet coolers for better inventory utilization.
